Events

Feasts, tournaments, weddings. You host, the server does the rest.

What an event is

A 20 minute gathering your town hosts.
Only one can run on the whole server at a time. Your town can hold one at a time.
While it runs, anyone who joins the server or respawns lands at it, member or not.
Discord gets a short notice when you book it, then a full post with your banner when it starts. The wiki gets a page.

A mayor or officer runs:

/event create <type> [delay] <description>

Type: one word from the list below. Tab fills it in.
Delay: optional. Counts from now. Days, hours, minutes, seconds, in that order, no spaces. 2h30m works, 30m2h does not. No delay means it starts now.
Description: 12 to 24 real words. Shown on Discord and the wiki.

/event create Feast 2h30m A great feast in the hall to mark the harvest, every town is welcome

Free. Check /event upcoming first. If yours would overlap another, the server tells you whose and when it ends.

At your town spawn. Or stand on your own land and run /event setspawn. Town land keeps mobs out.
A booked event only pulls players in during the last 5 minutes before it starts.
Someone moved by logging in can run /back once to return.
With nothing booked, nobody is moved. New players with no town start somewhere random in the wild.

Command	What it does
`/event create ...`	Book your event (mayor or officer).
`/event upcoming`	All live and booked events.
`/event view [town]`	See a town's event. Yours if no name.
`/event list`	The 29 types.
`/event setspawn`	Guests land at your feet (mayor or officer).
`/event cancel`	Call it off (mayor or officer).

29 types. The type only sets the name and the picture. Type it exactly as shown, one word, underscores included.
