Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/town new <name> | Make a town where you stand. Free. You are the mayor. |
/town claim | Add the chunk you stand on. 1 Silver Stag from the town bank. |
/town deposit <amount> | Put money in the town bank. |
/town add <player> | Invite someone (mayor or officer). They answer with /accept <town> or /deny <town>. /invite lists their invites. |
/town join <town> | Join a town that is open to all. |
/town spawn [town] | Go to your town, or any public town. |
/town leave | Leave. A mayor must hand the town over first. |
/nation new <name> | Start a nation. Free. You need a town first. |
Land
- Each resident adds 8 chunks to what the town may claim.
- A town can never hold more than 300 chunks.
- A nation adds 1 to 6 chunks to each of its towns. Bigger nations add more.
- A new chunk must touch land you already own. You cannot claim a chunk on its own.
- A town with 0 residents shows as "Town Ruins" until someone joins.
Ranks and town commands
- Mayor. Made the town, or was given it. Can do everything.
- Officer. A resident the mayor promoted. Can invite, claim and run most town commands.
- King. Leads a nation. Can act inside every town in it, so only join a nation you trust.
| Command | What it does | Who |
|---|---|---|
/town rank add <player> assistant | Make an officer. | Mayor |
/town rank remove <player> assistant | Unmake one. | Mayor |
/town ranklist | Who holds which rank. | Anyone |
/town set name <name> | Rename. Spaces become underscores. | Mayor |
/town set mayor <player> | Hand the town over. You become a resident. | Mayor |
/town set spawn | Where /town spawn lands. At your feet. | Mayor |
/town set homeblock | The town's centre chunk. At your feet. | Mayor |
/town kick <player> | Remove a resident. | Mayor |
/town set taxes <amount> | Daily tax per resident, into the bank. Plot rent works too. Most towns charge 0. | Mayor |
/town unclaim | Drop the chunk you stand on. | Mayor |
/town delete | Close the town for good. Asks to confirm. No staff ticket. Leaves a ruin for a while. | Mayor |
/nation leave | Take your town out of its nation. | Mayor |
/nation set name <name> | Rename the nation. | King |
/nation set king <player> | Hand the nation over. | King |
/nation kick <town> | Remove a town. | King |
/nation delete | Close the nation. | King |
Move the town: claim new chunks, unclaim the old ones, then /town set homeblock at the new centre. Never delete and remake it: the bank is lost.
If you stop playing
- After 21 days offline you are removed from your town.
- If every member is gone that long, the town becomes a ruin.
- A ruin keeps its land and buildings for 48 hours. Then it is gone and the land is wild again.
- Anyone with no town can stand in the ruin and run
/town reclaim. Free. They become the mayor.
The wild
- Outside towns anyone can build and break anything. Nothing is safe there.
- Nobody outside a nation can build within 2 chunks of that nation's towns.
- Hostile mobs spawn in the wild. They cannot hurt you on any town's land.
- You cannot place lava, water or powder snow buckets, obsidian, crying obsidian or TNT in the wild.
- Cobblestone generators do not work.
PvP
- PvP is on everywhere, even in towns. A mayor cannot turn it off.
- If a player kills you, you keep all items and levels.
- Then no player can hurt you for 4 hours. Attacking someone ends it. It does not work in a siege or a bay capture. Dying to a mob does not give it.
- Animals and pets on town land follow the plot's build rules. If you cannot build there, you cannot kill them.
Outlaws and jail
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/town outlaw add <player> | Mark an outlaw. |
/plot set jail | Make the plot you stand on a jail. |
/town set primaryjail | Make that plot the main jail. |
An outlaw can walk on your land but not /town spawn there. The town is warned when one enters. If they attack and lose on town land: jail, 5 hours.
A mayor can jail their own residents, or a caught outlaw, up to 72 hours. Prisoners can pay to get out. See Money.
Ravens
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/raven send <message> | Once a day, mayor or officer. Everyone online, Discord and the wiki see it. Sender gets 1 Silver Stag. 24 to 56 words, at least 96 letters. |
Small things
- Horses. Claims do not protect a saddled horse. Keep it behind a door. Take the saddle off.
- End loot. Items from End chests lose their enchantments. Potions become empty bottles.
- Sleep. When 25% of players online are in bed, it becomes morning. Phantoms are 5x rarer than normal.
- Invisible item frames. Crouch and right-click a filled frame with shears. Take the item out to see the frame again.
- Sit. Right-click a stair or slab with an empty hand. Crouch to stand.
